Competition Rules
1. The contest is for the removal of a deflated tire from the wheel completely. It cannot be continuing to straddle the rim. The innertube must also be off the rim, and the valve must be removed. Then the tube and tire must be replaced properly onto the wheel using any method the contestant wishes. The one requirement is that the removal of the tire and the replacement of the tire must include the use of a Quik Stik tire tool, and no other tool may be used. The tube and tire must be ready for inflation, but the clock stops prior to inflation.

2. The contestant or store must supply a Sun CR18 rim, a new Ching Shin C241 tire, and tube. This is to insure that all contestants are getting approximately the same degree of difficulty. No tire should be used more than 5 times in this contest unless the dealer certifies that it is still virtually new from the standpoint of difficulty to remove and install.

3. Contestants may do more than one attempt during an event. They may also send in more than one video if they are able to improve their time later. However, only videos created at independent bicycle retailers under the authority of the management of an independent bicycle retailer will be valid entries.
